By the way, it's almost worth the price of the book just to see a picture of Keith shouldering a 50 BMG rifle (he writes that it's too heavy [weight] for hunting, but it would be fine for target shooting.) There's a picture of him in full recoil with a .505 Gibbs.
And in his column on "best all around rifles" he quickly jumps to the .338 Win, .333 OKH, and .375 H&H for best all around cartridges for North American game. Most of the rest of that article is about that same column is about the .460 Weatherby and .378 Weatherby. For the person looking for good advice, he's not doing anyone any favors. But it's fun to read if you're in the know.
