Getting the shakes or second quessing yourself about a close purchase is always tough, especially if it's a nice gun like that, so difficult to come across another one also.
MtJerry were are the buyer of the 12 guage USH from KTP? If so did it come yet and were you satisied? Dn't feel badly, if I had passed on a SS .357 Survivor, which I would have to do now also, I would be shaking and second quessing myself and wondering if I had done the right thing also. Will they take some money down and let you pay it off over time? Perhaps they will take a credit card?....<><....

P.S. If you do decide not to get it perhaps we can get together through PM's since I might be able to figure out a way to purchase the gun for myself. But only if you are not going to get it. Also if you got the 12 guage USH that means you also got the .357 Max from them that I posted about. How is that one working out?....

Varminter,

Nope not me .. got a .44 mag barrel a few months ago.

MSP Ret,

Again, no, not me ... sorry.  They do take layaway, but I just can't swing it right now.

I would love to have this gun, ream it to 357 maximum, and then take my 44mag barrel and ream it to 445 super mag.  What a nice pair that would make ...

I think I was thrown off by the Mt which begins your screen name. Could it have been mt3030? How about it mt3030, was it you? If so how have they worked out? I am sure the .357 Max was a winner, how about the USH with Camo Laminate stocks?....<><....

Jerry:
Well, it didn't stay there long. Right after I got off the phone with you I went down to get it. Too late. Guess it took me too long to run you down thru Mike.

I am REALLY sorry you missed it Wally.

One of the clerks mentioned he was looking at it and thinking about buying it.

Several guns I have wanted ended up being bought by the staff at Big Bear.  Saw a Marlin Camp Rifle (45ACP) one day, went back an hour later to put it on layaway and it was gone.  The clerk told me a few months later it was shooting really nice ... I could'a smacked him.

I hate days like this ... a rare bird comes to my window and I have nothing to feed it .... sigh ....  :(

Nbc:
Yes, I saw the one listed in the forum. But 250 plus 20 shipping and 20 for FFL fees just took it out of my interest area. Now, 200 right here in town really blew my skirt up.

MSP Ret: It's at the dealer but I've been out of town shooting p-dogs. Will probably pick it up tomarrow.

I really want to see that USH when you get it Wally.  I have been contemplating one myself.

Yes. A bird in the hand is much better than two in the bush. If you have a 0 ballance on your credit cards, and you make a purchase on something like that, you can pay it off in 3 months maybe. Then you have it. You just can't make a habit of it. Don't buy all the Handi's in the gun shop, or you will be poor.  :D
