picked up one of these to try on my synthetic stock. I'm figuring it will help me with a more consistent cheek placement, due the high scope mounting.

An alternative as recommended by Mac is to use a neoprene bullet carrier with a bit of foam under it to raise the comb. They're cheaper at about $7-$8 and removeable, also great for carrying ammo handy for a Handi!!

I've already been doing that on my bolt actions;

what I didn't mention was, is that the rifle in the first pics is my Sportster. :wink: since they don't make carriers for 17s, I opted for the foam pad. :mrgreen:

I posted it here because it would work for all NEF rifles, not just rimfires.
