Well.....I did it.

........ordered a Glock 22 yesterday. Was a police firearm instructor at the range yesterday and showed me his Glock 22. Really felt good in my hand. He said all the Ponca City police have just switched to Glocks. Will be welcomed to my other pistols, Ruger P90, P95 and P345, and a Dan Wesson 8" 357 revolver. If my Glock is as accurate and reliable as my Rugers, I will be very pleased......... :-)

poncaguy, congrats on your G22! My G22 is my favorite pistol of all! I had a Ruger KP94DC in 40 S&W before I got my G22. The only thing I didn't like on the Ruger was the trigger. It had way to much creep and I don't like the DA/SA. I know the Glock doesn't have a "target trigger", but I really like it! As far as reliable.......thats what Glock's are, their reliable!

poncaguy - you will love the Glock - I have the 27/23/22 and like them all. They are very easy to shoot and maintain. I am also a fire arms instructor with my dept. When we switched to the Glock 22 and 23 - the first time out - all the officer of the department qualified the first time. Good news for the Glock - now down the road - 3 years later - and we have yet to have a failure of the Glocks. I guess my very favorite Glock is the 27. I can use the 23 and 22 magazines in it - and have a small hand gun with lots of fire power. Course the magazine from the 22 does tend to stick out a little -   - but thats okay.

Poncaguy,

I have had three 22 Glocks and think as far as auto's go they are hard to beat. When i was transporting prisoners thats all i ever carried, They are lighter and never had one to fail me when i needed it. Good carry gun.
