After some good advice here and a lot of thought,I have decided the marlin will be the one to go.1978,pre-safety,wood is nice and relatively unmarred.A few thin spots on top of barrel,and some carry wear on receiver,and lever.This rifle has been hunted with,but well cared for.I don't have photo capacity but may be able to get some help with that at work later this week.I am entertaining offers and trade possibilities.Thanx for your time.Whelen
