Is the Sierra .4295 made for .444 Marlin? I just tried loading today for the first time and they are loose in the brass. I can move the bullets with my fingers.

I load Sierra 300gr 44cal bullets in my 444marlin all the time. Although not for a lever gun. It sounds to me like your not sizing your brass fully, or your expander is a little large. Any 44cal bullet should load in a 444marlin as long as the length is right.   KN
