I have several Rossi's and love em all! My wife has a "matched pair" with a .22lr bbl and a .410 bbl that has killed more squirrels and other varmints around the farm than any other gun. I own a single shot .357mag that is one of the best shooting guns that I own! It shoots just about everything I put into it flawlessly (and works great in the barn against lil birds with those .38/357mag shotshells). I also recently got a rossi in 7.62x39mm that is turning out to be quite a little shooter as well. I have had several NEF's/H&R's as well and I love their shotguns, however their handi-rifles leave a lot to be desired from my experiences. I had one in .223 that used to open up once in a while when I fired it. Had one in .30-30 that blew primers all the time... After owning several of both, I choose the Rossi's. Check out the Rossi forum for more opinions on these guns.
