Got my PRS mold today finally . It is great . I cast up a couple hundred and lubed them . They fall out of the mold better than any of the others . The only thing is I will have to buy or make a barrel full of lube to fill the BIG groove . They sure look good and can't wait to load and shoot some . Mine cast out at .455 . Didn't weigh any cause I had my scale put away . I found I had to run my lead a little hotter to get good slugs . It sure don't take long to empty the pot . :-D  :-D  :-D

Mine also came today and with that nice little note on the invoice that says a copy of the published article on it will suffice for full payment. Oh the life of a writer is tough guys.  :)

So looks like as soon as the weather breaks I need to get after casting up some bullets so I can write up a review of it to return to them with the invoice. I really wasn't expecting that offer on this one since it is a special order deal. I knew I'd get the standard writer's discount price but didn't expect the free for published review offer on it. Not that I'm complaining mind you.

This is my first Leee six cavity mould so I ordered handles with it also. I'm impressed with the quality of appearance of them. These are the first six cavity handles I've seen. Sure are a lot nicer and heavier duty than the other Lee Handles I have with my two cavity mounds. That third handle on the mould is gonna take some getting used to I think. Still anything that keeps me from having to bang away with the wooden mallet will be much appreciated.

Hi Sunvale:  I guess you noticed by the underwhelming response that the topic of which lubes/receipies seems to either be unpopular or everyone is a secret store bought consumer.  I found a site that had several receipies - unfortunately, I did not put it in the "favorites" folder.  However, I cut and past all of them...if you email me, I will return with attachments.  Most are variations of 50% beeswax, 40/50% Crisco.  The remaining portion if 40% was taken, is peanut oil/refrigerent oil/jojoba oil/coconut oil/balistol (one or more of each of the aforementioned) plus some secret ingredient say anhydrous lanlolin or a bee wing (just kidding on the bee wing).  It also depends, I suppose on the climate (HOT or COLD) where you intend to shoot and if you use Black powder (or appropriate substitute) or white powder.   :-)
