CO2 bullet discharger

I am thinking about getting one of the CO2 bullet discharger but I would like some information on them
Does anyone know who makes them?
Will normal bb gun co2 cartridges work?
will they work with the 209x50 / 45 encore?

Rick, I have one of them. They work pertty good unless you got a real thick patch with the ball. When I got mine it came with an in-line adaptor, not sure if they still do. They use the 12 gram cly's.  I have a 5 pack I carry in my box made by "copperhead" which states on the box fits all "crosman" and most gas guns. Was just looking at the CO2 holder yesterday and seems they run $19.95 from Cabelas. I get my CO2 clys, at K-mart.

rickyp, with the Encore I really don't see a need for it. I just pull the breech plug and use the ram rod to push the bullet and powder out.  If you are at home and have an air compressor with a blow off tool with a rubber tip, it will work just as well and you would not need to buy CO2.

I purchased one of those dischargers from Cabela's and to be honest, it was a waste of time and money.  Most times when needed on my sidelock, I couldn't get the charge and sabot/bullet to blow out.  I ended up either pulling the breech plug or used a wormscrew on the ramrod to grab the bullet and pull it out.  I'd save my money on this one.  
If you do find it necessary to get a projectile out (as in forgetting to load the powder first), I will usually remove the nipple, pour a little powder in the nipple hole and replace the nipple and primer.  That should work!

before I went to inlines I had a very nice T/C renegade with single trigger. I have used the powder behind the nipple trick a few times.
The reason I am thinking about the co2 discharger is for when I am hunting and get caught in a heavy rain or if it fails to fire in the tree stand. I would like to just blow the load and reload it with a fresh charge. it is a little hard to pull the breach plug while in a stand, and I have not had good luck pulling the barns bullets that I am using right now.

What I am doing right now is: If i am hunting in the rain or get caught in one I come in for lunch and break the pistol down and whipe  everything down and put in a fresh charge with the same bullet ( I know I am cheep)  then go back out for an afternoon hunt. this took some time to do with the 209x50 contender barrel I had.

In the rain with my muzzleloader I put a piece of thin garage bag over the muzzle with electrical tape to keep the water out of the barrel. The pressure will blow of the plastic or go right through the plastic, no problem, and accuracy is not affected.

If you load got wet from the rain and you blow it out of the barrel, what will keep your second load from getting wet when reloading?

My discharger doesn't work with Powerbelt bullets. It blows out the bullet and leaves the belt in the barrel. It works fine with conicals or patched balls and also with my ML shotgun.
