I wouldn't take this to the bank, but I have heard that you can shoot 17 Aguila through barrrels chambered in 17HM2 .
I have yet to find much either on the 17 Aguila. But yeah it is a little cheaper.

The 17Aguila can be shot in a 17M2, the bigger 20gr FMJ bullet is said to be more meat friendly than the 17M2's 17gr, but from all reports at RFC, they lack the accuracy of the M2, specially when shot in an M2 chamber.
