I have a guy i work with that says he lives in the river trails additin on trinity blvd back along the trinity river. He says herds of 15-20 hogs come out near the pond in the back of his home all the time.Although this is a very populated area and lots of traffic there are some dense areas behind Bell helicopter.

Im wondering if anyone has ever walked it or hunter along that stretch of river? It would have to be bow of course.

Howie,

Bell helicopter has lots of land  in hurst on the ftworth border on the north side of trinity river . I have been hearing that if you talk to the right people in the company they will let you go in during certain hours with a bow to take some of the hogs. Your a good talker and have the experience you should check it out! There is also plenty of individuals that live back there that you might be able to talk to. And it is really close to you.

From 820 following the Trinity river east all the way thru Irving and to just east of Loop 12 there are feral hogs roaming around. The problem is getting permission but I know that you can access the river near the bridges for fishing legally and I kind of think you could get away with bowhunting in some areas and the area along Randle mill road especially but carry no firearms!  If you had a small boat there would be no problem getting around in the area. I walked up on some hogs saturday near Waxahachie just following a dry crek bed to a creek to do some fishing.
