Got my beach umbrella all ready to go

Went down to Big Lots and picked a 10ft umbrella--the kind that goes in the middle of the patio table.  Then got a piece of PVC and U bolted it to the guncart.  Umbrella slips into the PVC (which I painted black) and out with no problems.

Course I lost a rifle slot by doing this but we had 4 slots open to begin with.  

Now I just crank open that shade and watch all the pards gather.  Will have to be careful on a windy day, though,

Well, got to use it today and it works right nice.

By the end of the match we were setting it up by the loading table to give the pards a few minutes of shade before they shot.  

Had a bit of a breeze for a few minutes and it did OK but would hate to have it open in high winds.  Mary Poppins there it goes.

I stick my bumbershoot in a fishing rod holder bolted to the side of my cart so I can adjust it to any angle.  I used to park the cart at the loading table like you, as I normally park my butt there also, but my club came up with a string of period correct orange traffic cones that we're not allowed to move our carts past.  Them's the rules.  :wink:
