have a sightron 41/2x14x50 - really like the scope - does anyone have any comments on this scope and to narrow it down, how does it compare to the 4200 4x16x50.  my new ruger 270wsm bk/grey lam w/stainless is in and need to top er off. thanks dm

I just purchased a Sightron 3X12X42AO to put on top of my Bushmaster Varmiter in 223. This is the second Sightron I've bought, my other is a 2.5X8X42. And it's been on several rifles. Never had any kind of trouble out of the scope. That's why I bought another one. Could not see spending about $250.00 more for a Leupold, and I've got several.
I think that they are one of the best scopes made for the money.
