I traded for a hand rifle that is not working. When I cock it and squeeze the trigger the hammer drops slow and weak. the gun appears to be clean and in good shape any suggestions would be helpful

Weak spring or gunk in the mechanism. I'd try to clean first, then figure out the spring problem.

thanks for the help I took the butt stock off and washed out the inside of the action. then put it back together and it fired. thanks for the help
