Anybody who just CAN'T WAIT one more minute to see me at my reloading bench can find new photos (taken by master photographer Mrs. Miller) at www.picturetrail.com.  Enter walter-strong in the User Name box at the upper right.

Dusty - it sure looks like you are enjoying yourself and with the exception of the shorts, it looks like we dress about the same at the reloading bench (lololol).  It also looks like Jake is keepin' an eye on ya, just to make sure you do everything right - my old cat (TC) used to enjoy knocking the bullets around and watching them roll.  It used to get a bit dicey when I had counted out just the right number of slugs to reload, and then had to go try and wrestle the last few away from the cat (LOL).  Thanks for the pictures.  Mikey.

great pictures!  i always like to be able to put a face with the personalities i have come to know here.

two things i see that concern me.  the first could potentially be a very dangerous situation.   i see a water bottle on the bench, way too close to the hot lead.  this could be a super bad combination.  i like having something to drink while working on my stuff,  but i put it on the other side of the room so i have to walk over to get it.  i drink, then walk back over to my work area.      the lead will explode if any water hits it while it is hot.   just be careful.

the second isnt nearly as important but i see you using a rubber mallet to tap out bullets from the mold.   from what i have been told, you want to tap the big screw that holds the mold handles together with the same stick you use to cut the sprue plate.  i use a piece of hardwood i cut and peeled the bark off of.
if the bullets are really sticking,  there is a thread addressing that particular problem.  basically, several ways of cleaning out the mold are discussed.  i tried them, and they work very well.

again, thanks for sharing the pictures.

Good advice, Myron, I'll certainly take all that into consideration.  I told my wife that I didn't recognize that old fart at my reloading bench, wearing my clothes.  It could'nt've been me 'cuz I'm sure as all gitout that I don't have  that many wrinkles!  :-D Maybe it was the light! :-)

Beats the snot out of me.  It might be case sensitive. There is a dash between the first name and the last, but if you did a cut & paste that should've gone with it.  I'm not at all savvy about this sort of thing, sorry. :(

I tried that user name again and it worked!

Actually, to be fashionably dressed, you probably should have black socks on that go almost to your knees.  Har, har, har...BCB

May I suggest dropping your bullets onto an old triple folded towel? They won't get near as many dents and flatspots as falling on a hard surface.
