I own a Streamlight Scorpion, I bought in 1996 that worked fine for all these years but having been turned on accidently while in the nylon pouch and stayed ON for quite a while before I noticed it, the lens had slightly melted because of the intense heat.
I emailed Streamlight and asked if I could get a replacement lens. They explained it takes a special tool to do and I should send the head to them for a free lens replacement. I informed them that unfortunatly I was living in France (unfortunate indeed as socialism is leading the country to chaos as I can witness, not being french !
) and send the head assy to them would not be practical.
Guess, what ? They send me a new head assy free of charge and I received it 5 days later !
That is what I call quality of service !
My son will be in LA this summer and I will ask he brings me back the new Streamlight with LED !
BTW: keep the liberals out of the way !
