I don't know how your rifle is set up, but the magazine is probably a .308 length one, and if the throat is set up normally for a .358, you may find the 225 grain NBT's may be prone to under-perform in it.
They are a very long bullet with their VLD profile. I tried them out in my BLR, and found that in order to get them to fit in and feed from the magazine I had to seat them quite deeply in the case. This reduced the amount of powder I could use to load them with.
I understand that Hornady makes a 220 grain bullet that is much shorter and more user friendly than the NBT. I've begun swaging my own bullets, so this isn't a problem for me.
I haven't tried it yet, but I understand that H335 is an excellent powder for the .358.
