Hi here in the uk we don't have your freedoms with firearms as you do but never mind  :oops: So can you help loads for .243 with ballistic tips 95 grain i can find loads for 80grain and 100grain but not 95grain i use hd 450 with 47 grains at the moment but any suggestions that is if you dont mind educating a limey ? :lol:

The only data I have for 95gr bullets is from Nosler and they use the same data as 100gr loads. The max load listed for H450 with a 95gr bullet is 45.5gr of powder. For IMR 4350 it's 42.0 gr of powder. If you're using Hodgdon 450 FYI it's no longer available and when used up it's all gone. It's a surplus powder. It's my favorite and I'm about out. I'm going to switch over to H4350 in the future.

For the last year I've been using the Hornady 95gr. SST in my .243Win.  Accuracy is about the same as with the Balistic Tip.  I load it with IMR4831 42.0grs.  I find that with the lighter 70-85gr. bullets you can get good results from IMR4064 and IMR4895, but for the heavier bullets up through 100grs. you're probably better of with IMR4831 and IMR4350.  Just one mans opinion.  Best wishes.

And...I feel that your load of 47 grains of H-450 is above a safe load.
