I'm thinking since the you can chamber 3" 410 shells the 45 colt is not gonna be that accurate. This has been proven time and time again. Since S&w came out with the 460 S&W why can't you shoot these in the chamber? 45 colts are 1.285" in length, the 454 casull is 1.383" in length and the new 460 S&W is 1.8" in length. Could you shoot either the 460 or 454 and have accuracy increase because the bullet has less distance to travel to engage in the riflings? Or would there be no big increase in accuracy?
