.410/45 barrel
« on: July 10, 2005, 07:13:43 AM »
Just got one from NEF it came with a key that is used to remove a chock sort of in the muzzle. My question is what is the chock thing and when is it used? Thanks. Bob

The choke tube is used when you intend on firing shot shells.  The barrel is rifled on the 410/45.  When you are firing 45 Colts you are supposed to remove the choke tube.  I don't really know how you would configure for 410 Foster type slugs.  Maybe someone else has some info on that.  Hope this helps.
