S&W 25-5 marked 45 Colt CTG, will it shoot both 45 Long Colt and 45 ACP? (using half or full moon clips)

No.

The .45acp with full moon clips (or the .45AR without clips) has too thick a rim (or a rim and a moon clip) to allow this.

Yes it will if, you have the cylinder altered to accept full moon clips. I, erroniously used to think it would shoot .45 Auto Rims also but, have been informed it won't after the alterations.
