Whats the correct sight hifgr for a 10" 22 lr contender

and what sight do i correct it TOO when said barrel is cut down to a 6.5" er? I am having trouble getting my 6.5 custom cut 22 to dial in correctly and was wondering if a different front sight(taller or shorter might just be the problem? Any info or help guys? thanks
