New tires.

I need two tires for the front end of an antique 185 Suzuki.   Original tires only last 20 years!
Anybody buy tires online?     What is a good tire for the money?   This bike is used for working on the ranch.

Don't know about down there, but we can't beat the prices at Wal-Mart/Sam's Club here in Alaska.  Ordering on line or through a catalog, we have to pay shipping which is spendy.

Sorry to be so late in responding.  Since your 185 is 2WD, most any tire will work, except for finding one the correct size.  I have purchased Titan 489's at Walmart and then had them installed on the rim at a local tire store.   Also, Tractor Supply Company downhere in TX sells a variety of ATV tires along with tractor and mower tires.  

I don't know what type of ground, soil you are riding on but I would recommend that whatever tire you select, that you add slime before heading out.  Sure does work good to keep you from being stranded with a flat.  

I have purchased tires online for my motorcycle from Dennis Kirk.  Like sourdough said, you have to pay the shipping cost which usually negates the original savings compared to buying them in a store.

Thanks for the advice.    I intend on using the bike mostly in the sandy hills and muddy bottoms of Centerville, but I have already slimed the old tires and will do the same with any new ones.   Lots of small persimmon trees get shredded each fall and the small dried stobss could puncture a tire without much imagination.
Sounds like Walmart, as usual, will provide an economic solution.
