Can anyone enlighten me on where to find historical information on Dan Wesson. I have been considering one that is at a local gun shop, but know very little about the revolvers. He has several in stock, including 357mags and 44mags. What is the difference between the manufacturing sights?

HAVE A LOT OF WISE GENTLEMEN ON THIS SITE. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF GOOD SITES TO RESEARCH THESE GUNS ON. FOR MY TWO CENTS I WOULD STAY WITH THE ONES MADE IN MONSON, AND TRY TO AVOID THE LATER MADE REVOLVERS. I HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH A LATER 44, THE TIMING KEPT GETTING MESSED UP ON IT. MAYBE I JUST GOT A LEMON, BUT I HEARD AFTER THE COMPANY MOVED, THE TOLERANCES WENT OUT THE WINDOW.
