How exactly does one end up with a stock that they do not know whataction it is for? Yard sale? Door prize? LOL

I bought it from a guy on the internet who said it was inlet for a 54 action.  It was not and since then I sold my 54 action rifle.  

I didn't send it back cause I though someone who shoots silhouettes might want it.  I'll sell it for what I bought it for, $250.00.

By the way I now think it is inlet for a XP-100.  I'll check this with a friends rifle soon.
