in answer to your question, not may ph owners are willing to part with them.
pls correct me if i'm wrong (i know you will) the first edition ph's have a gain twist as well as progressive rifling as the newer (gibbs) have only the progressive rifling.
buyer beware.... i have not seen it in writing, but have been told, that the gibbs ph looks exactly like the older (first edition) guns. even the markings on the barrel and stock. on the newer model, on the rear portion of the trigger guard, it will be stamped "made in italy". also check serial no. again, correct me if i'm wrong, but the first edition will have no more than 4 didgits in number. althogh the newer ph 's shoot very well, it's a matter of price thinking you're getting one thing, and getting another.
