I have a 375  JDJ contender carbine I am working with now. The load I worked up is 225gn Hornady SP with varget powder. Going to the range tomorrow, so will give updates...

In the Encore you'd be able to make substantial performance gains over loads for the Contender by loading to higher pressures.  The Contender is limited to 45,000 psi with this case size, while the Encore can take  60,000 psi.  That should equate to ca. 200 fps more velocity and about 500 fpe more energy with 270-grain bullets in an Encore with equal barrel lengths.  But - you'd be on your own in developing these loads as published data is held to Contender pressures.
