Golden Eagle Bow
« on: July 17, 2005, 07:32:37 AM »
Hi Guys,

Local shop has this bow.
They put a new string on it and than the owner
gave it to the shop instead of the money.
He had bought a new bow from them.

It is a target bow with a 60lb. pull.
Looks nice and has a very good price on it.
Shop says it is about 15 years old.

Price is 90.00 bucks.

Anyone know about Golden Eagle bows?

thanks
give me calm,hot days

I have a golden eagle bow paid 125 two years ago. I was used to an old slow bow so this was a big upgrade. I shoot 2117 arrows 125 grn. and a right helical 5" feathers. I can shoot 3-4 inch groups at 25 yards. That's good enough to hunt with. or you can spend 5x as much and get 2" groups at 30 yards. But where I hunt it's plenty of bow.  TVC15

Round wheel or cams? Have had mine (Evolution) for 10 years now. Sent it to the factory about a year ago for new bushings other than that I love it. Everyone I have shot around comments on how quiet it is. It may not be the fastest bow out there but it is as smooth as the day I bought it. It will be a sad day when I have to replace it because I am a finger and instinctive shooter and the new bows are not compatable to that shooting style. 29 1/2", 2117s with 125gr Bear fixed blade broadheads do everthing I ask of them under 30 yards with this bow.
Just another worthless opinion!!
