What is the best scope for under $100 to take in the field for spotting and watching deer and other animals?

Thanks,
Doug

I would suggest looking for a used spotting scope. But if you are looking to just look at animals for the fun of it. I guess any scope would work. I use a quality spotting scope so I can see the true potential of the trophy. In my opinion anyone wanting to see game, spend a little more and get something good. :D

I know all the lines but I am looking for a hunting scope for under $100.  I know there is alot of crap like the Burris spotting scopes that are made in China...  Bushnell, Winchester, BSA ect have scopes under $100 are any of them any good???  I understand Bushnell has a lifetime warranty on the non elite scopes but the elite have a 1 year warranty.  Can someone explain this to me?

Thanks,
Doug

Doug,

If you can find a Bushnell Trophy #78-7363 20-60x63, you'll be glad you did....I got mine on closeout for $120, it's made in Japan and a fine spotting scope for the money. The Optic Zone has a similar model....

A friend has a Bushnell Spacemaster, it has worked well for him for many years for a minimal investment.

The 1yr condition on the Elites is a no questions asked return policy, they also have a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser, as do most Bushnell products with the exceptions listed.
