88  i like all the animals i catch even the black and white woods kittys.   As for fox once you learn basics you will find out they are just as easy to catch as coon or muskrats.  First you have to have fox in your area.  I have caught fox  in  220s set for coon  in open trail sets and i have also caught fox in  nbr one longsprings when i was young set uncovered in front of cubbys for coon.   Fox  can be caught using a variety of sets.  If you would like some free GOOD info contact Asa Lenon  and he will send you info you can bank on if you follow his directions.  Good Luck

i like to catch all fur.Water animal are the most enjoyable for me. I have salt water in my vaines, you know. But I will always work the best paying fur. After all
I have bills to pay.
But I can tell you this.
You cant beleave the feeling you get when you set a #5 or #15 Newhouse for bear.
Espisualy, if you are up at camp. And not to be back down the mountain for 2 or 3 days.
There you are up on a mountain.Bedding a #15 Newhouse. If you slip and fire the trap what are you going to do but cut off your arm or die up there. You know your freinds wont come looking for you for 3-4 days and where are they going to look for you. When you last seen them. You said that you were going to look up on so-and-so mountain for bear sign.No telling where you are doing to find it .Just maybe at such-and such place. But who knows ?
Yes I know it's nuts. But if you know me you would'nt have to ask why I do such things

Coyotes are my favorite, even after 60 days of dawn til dusk I still get excited when you pull into a spot and there he sits.I've had the pleasure of being with some real good coyote trappers and it never cesses to amaze me that they all get charged up with a coyote catch.
I love the smell of coyote gland lure early in the morning. It smells like victory!!

Well, I suppose I'd have to say Coyotes.  Coyotero said it pretty well.  In general though, I get pretty satisfied when I catch the critter that I set the trap for; a badger in a good cat set or a porky in a coyote set don't make my day!

I'd have to say mink are my favorite.  These little guys definatly make you work for them and it pays well for their size.  Muskrat come in second.  I've alwayz had a thing for taking rats in creeks.

Trapping of a different sort!

Prawns!

We set out prawn traps up here, up to 5 per boat.  You have never had anything like fresh prawn sautaed in butter with a little garlic.

Prawn are like shrimp but bigger up to 8-9 inches in body length. The tails of the prawns up here are about 4-6 inches long and I have caught as many as 30+ in one trap.  Our traps are like lobster traps with a smaller mesh, a bait station and an entrance way.

Leg hold traps or Connibers don't work real well on them!

I have always been partial to water trapping.  I love catching the Muskrats, Beaver, and especially a Mink.  There is nothing better than setting for a mink and catching one in that set.  My best set produced 11 mink in same set during 99 season.  Also in the same season, I caught 4 coon, 7 muskrats, duck, and blue herron in same set.[/b]
