I am a new Glock owner, and I have a question about the spring pressure in the magazines. When I load the 10 rd mags when I get to about #7 it is very hard to load the last 3 rounds, with the 15 rd mags I get to about 10 or 11 and then it really becomes a struggle. I'm a BIG guy and I can't believe I have sooooo much trouble getting those last few @###$$$% rounds in the magazine. Will they loosen up with use or if I leave them fully loaded for awhile ? Or maybe I am just a wimp!!!! :-D

They will loosen up. No need to artifically make this happen.

Leaving them loaded will not loosen them up. Springs loosen from being compressed and released over many cycles... not just from being compressed and held.

I had the same problem with my new 13 round magazine for my Glock 23...It will loosen up over time..Go shoot that thing and you will see.

The springs are not the problem. What is happening is that the rounds are not seating correctly. They should be staggered. After loading every 4 or 5 rounds, hit the baseplate with your hand to ensure that the rounds are staggered properly.

I had the same problem with my 15 round mags for my G22 and my G20.
It will go away after about 5 to 10 loadings. The springs are stiff.
