cast loads for .480 and .475 Linbaugh
« on: July 21, 2005, 07:34:40 AM »
Gentlemen,

I have been working with the LBT 375 grain LFNGC and find it an awsome projectile as to accuracy and effectiveness. It has been my back-up carry load for the 480 Ruger while bow hunting here in Alaska. There has been a plethora of loading data for this recently; I was able to successfully work up to an accurate load at about 1300 fps.

I am now looking at reloading for the 475 Linebaugh with LBT 420 gr. WFNGC and have been unsuccessful in finding any loading data. Any ideas or direction to same would be helpful.

best,
bhtr

the .475 is a high pressure round and every gun has a different point where pressures get high. Mine will get sticky with anything more then 26 grains of 110 with a 420.
