after working the action over a good bit on my rem. 700sps .300wsm, i've noticed some where on the backside of the bolt lug. it's the lug that turns down when the bolt is closed. the opposite lug has very little wear. comparing rifles, i checked my older 700adl .270 and it looking the same. i haven't shot the .300wsm yet, but the wear on the lugs doesn't seem to have any effect on my .270's performance. it will shoot .75" groups all day. just wondering if anyone else has noticed this.
