From the picture it looks like it has a flute in it. One flute. Strange. Though it is a "custom" :-) Wonder how much it took to get it threaded and fitted for a muzzle break? Might be a starting out gunsmith and done it himself....?..
This one's gon'a go up.

It's been said, there's one born every minute.  I get the impression these (bargins) are aimed at the absolute novice.  Pity.  How can this person sleep nights?

Not that it sounds like anyone here is going to, but DON'T TOUCH THAT BARREL!!!!!

Do a little reading on the "smiths" site that does this sort of thing to Handirifle barrels and TC barrels.
He has posted on his site that the BATF has told him the break cannot be removable on a 16" barrel (like the ebay one is)  It has to be affixed permanantly on the barrel if the barrel is NOT 16" with it removed.

This barrel is an arrest waiting to happen.

Actually it's 18½" long overall.....how does the BATF measure barrels? Do they consider the chamber length in their requirement? Not that I'm interested in it, just curious. As far as we are concerned, comparing it to NEF/H&R measuring standards, it's an 18½" barrel.

Barrel length

Unless the BATFE has changed the rules in the last 30 years, quite possible, you close up the weapon. stick a dowel down the barrel, mark it at the muzzle, remove and measure the overall length.

Not sure how they measure, but if it IS 16" or over with the brake removed all is OK, but it has to be at least 16" if the brake is removable.

It says that it is 16-1/2" with the brake removed, 18-1/8" with it installed.
