Redhawk barrel turning
« on: July 21, 2005, 01:16:47 PM »
I received my RH today from Fedex from Ruger. It was about 8 wks in turn around. They replaced the barrel and springs. The Springs were Wolffs. Looks to be a nice job. I will go to the range when cooler temps avail. This is my second gun back to Ruger for barrel turning. The first was a SBH that really turned. I only discovered it when I got rid of the worthless scope mount.
I believe part of the fault may have been mine, as I had been shooting some slightly warm hard cast bullets(+1200) for a 240 hard cast. I have another RH that is ok for now, and has had the same diet as the other two.
