Real BigFoot sighting?
« on: July 22, 2005, 01:50:37 AM »
Alot of people talk about BigFoot sightings, but when they tell the story they either just saw a glimpse of a shadow of one or maybe they hear one banging around in the woods. I am sure people have mistaken other animals as bigfoot.

Has anyone here ever seen a BigFoot in the whole and 100% sure it was BigFoot? Anyone seen one up close and the sighting made your re-think everything you ever knew about life and the wilderness?

Don't get me wrong, I am not a BigFoot skeptic, Its just that I want to someday be up close to a BigFoot.

If you don't want to tell the story about your encounter I understand, but I want to know if anyone has seen a Sasquatch up close and personal enough they belive 100% is was BigFoot.

Yes I have had several encounters, where I have been up close and personal, (read some of my stories on this site). I have been hunting Bigfoot for many years, and yes most of the banging in the woods, and different calls, and sounds, could be of someother animal, but being in the woods, you get educated to what is what, after many years of it. For instance, most of the time when I`m sitting in a tree stand and I hear a tree knock, its not long before the really stange stuff starts, to happen.
I have a picture of a female, (I think) bigfoot carrying a baby bigfoot. Thats why I assume its a female. The animal went by one of my game camera`s, the picture is less than 2 or 3 feet from the camera. Right now, I am in contact with (MK Davis) to do some expert film analyzes, to confirm it is indeed a bigfoot. Even though you can see it is, I`m having a expert to analyze it.
Yes anybody can see the picture, the only catch, is you have to come by my house to see it. I won`t post the picture on anysite, till I get it copy-righted.
As far as what it did to me after seeing one, that is about life, God, etc. I felt that I was very privilege in getting to see one of God`s creation, that has not been verified by the scientific community. It also sent fear through me, cause there is things that go bump in the night after all
If you want to experience the thrill and terror, come and hunt with us this fall. We dont charge anything, like some of the other bigger bigfoot hunting clubs do. We do get you to sign a release, so if you hurt yourself, is all. You live right next door to me, so it ain`t that far. I`m in northeastern Okla. The invitation, is open to anyone out there also.
Just remeber that you are coming to a real hunt, and real hillbilly country, so remeber to bring something for the meat pot, and a dessert for me :-D , I like Eddy`s ice cream, Neigh soda pop, and double layer chocolate cake, take you pick. :-D

I am fascinated with the idea of seeing BigFoot. All the BigFoot shows on TV never show anything. I just have a desire to see one. I don't want to prove to the world BigFoot is real...

I don't want to hear knocks or something like that in the woods. I grew up in the woods and hillbilly country. I have been backpacking in Maine, New Mexico, Colorado, Missouri, and Arkansas. I have been canoeing in Canada and Florida. I have yet to see ANYTHING that is or could be attributed to BogFoot!

Its just something I want to do.

When you go hunting them----is it with a camera----or do you plan on actually bagging one someday??

Not judging---just curious.

I would never shoot at one unless I was being carried away by one. The LAST thing I would want to do is bag one. Even if I did have solid proof og BigFoot I wouldn't go public with it.

I saw one close
« Reply #7 on: July 31, 2005, 01:44:22 PM »
RedRyder, I saw one from 6 feet away.  It had crept up to my car, and when I turned to look out the driver's window, it was right on me.

It was nighttime, but the moon was full and extremely bright.  The eyes glowed pale yellow.  There was no smell.  It had extemely broad shoulders that sloped up into a rounded head, and no neck.   It made no sound whatsoever.

This was a long time ago, and at the time nobody in my area had ever heard of Bigfoot.  I had no concept of what I was seeing, at the time.

A couple of days later, while I was investigating the scene of the sighting, it followed me through the woods. I saw it very clearly, in silhouette, from about 30-40 yards away.

Since then, these things have been widely reported in that area, as the forests shrink due to development.

I am willing to accept that I saw a hoaxter in a gorilla suit, but if so the hoaxter was 8-9 feet tall, wearing an 8-9 foot tall suit.

I think it more likely that I saw a large, rare primate.

In either case, I am not normally even slightly interested in the "strange and unusual".  I was just one of the lucky (?) ones that have seen these things.  What I saw was real, and close.

Hi SoloKane and welcome :D

Could you elaborte more on you story? Like what was you doing at the time you saw the bigfoot? Was you, parked beside the road, etc. More detail, it sounds interesting.
I believe you, because, you described one body part of the beast, that hardly nobody, describes right, his eyes. Yes his eyes are yellow, I have seen them up close also, the closest was 17 paces away from me. (see story on this site). When the moon is full, and the moon is in his face, I have seen just white eyes, reflecting the moon
Your story is very interesting, and I would like to hear the total detail of what you were doing, before and during the sighting.

Where was the sighting, and where areyou from?

thanks,

Real BigFoot sighting?
« Reply #9 on: August 02, 2005, 09:35:39 AM »
BulletMaker, I am from Texas.  The sighting occured in Angelina County.

I was in high school at the time.  My girlfriend and I had left a football game and were parked along a clearing that had been cut into the woods for a future housing development.  We were talking for a few minutes before I took her home (fortunately, we weren't parked and making out, or I'd have probably given up sex til this day).

It was October, cool, and (as I said) the moon was extremely bright.  The roadbed was white sand, which reflected the moonlight very well.  The moon was about 40 degrees up from the horizon, and at 7-8 O'Clock.

My girlfriend and I were sitting and talking, looking out the front window.  I remember that I got an eerie feeling, and for some reason looked out my side window, turning about 15 degrees beyond directly left.  This huge black man-like shape was squatting down, eye level with the top of my car ('68 Camaro).  Its shoulder breadth was enormous.  As I described, I noticed was that it had no distinct head.  The head was just a large lump on top of these huge shoulders.  The entire eye orb was glowing very pale yellow (almost white).  The thing was looking right into my eyes. It was no more than a man's body length away from me.

I was too surprised to be frightened.  I turned around to look at my girlfriend and saw that she was looking out the left rear window at this thing.  When I looked at her, she looked back at me.  That broke the stunned silence.  She started screaming.  I started the car and drove off.

I took her home, calmed her down, and then left to do what any dumb country boy would do - round up his friends to go look for the thing.  We saw nothing that night.

The next day, we got more friends (and our rifles) and combed the woods looking for sign.  We saw a few dead cattle in a clearing, and a few very indistinct tracks, but nothing conclusive.

The next day, I went back again with one friend, unarmed.  We checked the woods again, but found nothing. As we were leaving, about 30 minutes before sundown, I got the same eerie feeling again.  I looked behind me and the thing was following us through the woods.  The trees in that spot were tall pines with an understory of Yaupon.  The sun was about 10 degrees up from the horizon (right at the tops of the yaupon) and about 15 degrees to the left of the creature.  The creature was at most 40 yards away.  As we stared at it, it started swaying from side to side, with it arms hanging at its sides.  I noticed that whreas the shoulders were still very broad, it had thinner legs and looked almost lanky when standing.

We ran out of the woods, got in my truck and hightailed out of there.

I later gaged the thing's height from the yaupons it has stood by, and measured it to be approximately 8-9 feet tall.

This was very near the Neches river bottoms, east of the river.

Later on, I realized that this thing might have the source of the "Wild Man" legends that old timers always talked about when I was a kid.

I know two other trustworthy individuals who have since reported sightings in that area.

Like I said, I'm not particularly drawn to studying the strange and unusual, I would just like to know what these things are.  I hunt and camp a lot, and I always worry (a little) about seeing another one.  I'm not really sure they are harmless.

That's my testimony, 100% accurate.

Hi SoloKane :D

What a geat story, I bet your girfriend, won`t forget that night either. Infact I bet she won`t go out with you anymore, cause when she does, I bet she thinks of that night,   am, I right?  :-D  :-D . That was a great acount, I almost had one just like yours, in that is was 1967, I had just returned from Viet-nam, and I looked up an old girlfriend, and we had a date, (we were just good friends, no hanky, panky), and wound up on a lonely, pasture, out in the middle of nowhere, with a full moon, over head, and telling ghost stories. She loved to do that. Anyhow, we were on our forth or fifth, ghost story, when I seen a large dark bipedal, creature, coming towards us about 70 yards away. Needless to say, I got the heck out of there, and never went back.

Your story brought back a lot of memories.

And no----me and Janice never went back there again. :-D  :-D

Yep, having one of these things show up as a chaparone takes all the fun out of a date.

My girlfriend had a lot of trouble with this experience.  She lived a few miles from where we saw it, and her house backed up to the woods.  She never felt safe again.

I was young and full of vinegar, so I blew it off and forgot about it.  It has only been recently, with all the reports coming out of areas that I hunt, that I've started to think about it more.

You do not have to worry about copywriting your bigfoot picture! A picture is copywritten the SECOND you trip the shutter!

Yes I've seen his photos. No I've not actually hunted with him but we did ride down there where the hunts take place so I could see the area. Was miserable hot when I was there back in early June of this year and the poison oak, ivy and cow itch was every where. Seriously thick stuff down there.

Hi Graybeard :D

Guy`s Graybeard did come down like he said, and is my witness about the wildness of the place. It was miserably hot and humid, thats why we wait till Oct, to start hunting, that is when it cools down.  :-D  :-D

Hey Graybeard, you should see the mosquitos down here now.  I wont even go outside after 18:00 hrs, thats when they come out by the millions.

Yes ladies and gentlemen, Graybeard got to see the bigfoot pictures.
Like I said to all of you before, all you gots to do, is come by, I dont charge anything.

Hey Graybeard     Tell Matt to get ready for the Hunt, well be doing them all the way through March. I hope he gets to make it down.

I went up to Bolen Springs, and bought a couple of home made barbeque sauce. for them beer can smoked chicken, and ummm, ummmm. what a treat.
Now folks, Bolen Springs, is a very -very small colored community, way-way, back in the hills about 10 miles from me. Its a Norman Rockwell type of farming community, that like going back to 1920. And boy do they make goooood barbeque sauce. :toast:

Hi M1A :D

Thats my story on the GCBRO. No it ain`t from Washington, its from Okla.  And yes I do want you to come alone, reason is, me and my amigos can handle one guy with a gun, thats afraid, not saying you would get afraid, but better to be safe than sorry, we can`t protect a whole bunch of guys with guns, that might get scared and shooting all directions. Dont worry, we hunt two to a stand.

It makes me I wonder now how many bigfoot encounters go unreported? Maybe the ones who have seen it are afraid to speak about it.  What do you guys think?

I agree with you BigBill :D

I personally know a bunch of these hillbillys ( i call them hillbillys affectionally, their ain't a thing they wouldn't do for you, they are great people, but that is what they are and their proud of it)out here where I live and the surrounding towns, that have had encounters. They dont report it cause of maybe someone would make fun of them. They won`t talk about it, unless they get to know you, and that would take years.

Another reason they don't talk to strangers about Bigfoot , is because a lot of them still have wiskey stills out in the woods. No, I not joking. :) , and they don't want people and reporters poking around for a story.

Most of the people that have encounters, in my neck of the woods, I don't know about in another state, but they don't have computers, so they cant or wont tell their stories.  They usually just say, (Its better to stay out of them thar woods at night)  Then when you keep asking about why, they will tell ya.

So I`d say their are alot of sightings, that go unreported.

I have been on Bulletmakers place, and all over the bottoms to the west of bulletmakers on both sides of the lake a number of times over the years. I spect I've been pretty much on all the property from the section road in front of bulletmakers and to the west for three miles on foot. I duck hunt around the lake in the winter, I've dug holes in the snow and shot geese behind bulletmakers place, and my brother and I have killed a few wild hogs in there as well. Sometimes there's a pretty good pecan crop to be had in those bottoms. I've been in there in the spring, late summer, fall, and the winter. Been in there at night, been in there during a thunder storm, built fires and cooked lunch, been in there alone, and with folks....almost forgot...even shot rabbits with bow and arrow while the snow was on the ground, I spect that was about 25 years ago.

There used to be a fella that did indeed make moon in the area, I have personally disposed of a few gallons of the stuff....his boys still live in the area, ol' Bulletmaker knows em.

It is a wild and wooly area, several deer and a pretty good bunch of wild turkey call it home, some snakes, the usual fur bearing critters, and like Graybeard said the poison ivy is thick, ticks, chiggers, mosquitoes, stifling heat in the summer....welcome to NE Oklahoma.

I ain't never seen any of Bulletmakers hairy friends in there though
Hey, hold my beer and watch this.
