I have used the noslers only once and did not see any reason to spend the $ on them after seeing how the Hornady bullets compared to them. I have shot deer in Maine and Md, blackbear ,and a bunch of other critters. The hornady 200 RN seems to knock deer off their feet quicker than any other slug. Their 200 semipointed slug seems to be harder and leaves a smaller in diameter wound channel, judging by exit holes and meat damage. The noslers would REALLY mess up a deer! Too much meat damage in my opinion. They might be good for a trophy hunter, but I like to eat deer meat!

Tried the Nolser 225 BT and PT, the Sierra 225 BTSP, Hornady 180 and 200 grain SPs and 200 RN. Didn't like the way the lighter bullets shot in my barrel and honestly wasn't able to push them any faster than the 225s. Loved the accuracy of the 225 BT and it became the only bullet used to take game with the barrel. The barrel got sold off because I really just couldn't deal with the recoil in my old arthritic hands. But it was blam flop on deer.

Ive taken 8 or 9 deer with the the 358 JDJ/225 gr B-Tip combo. Very accurate and deadly on deer. Ive not had one create "meat damage". I, like GB have tried alot of different bullets...ive taken deer with the 200 gr Hornady SP,200 gr X , 180 gr Hornady SSP and the 180 Speer FT. All worked well...but the BT is the best IMO and most accurate in my BBL. If i had to pick a bullet other than the 225 BT it would be the 200 gr SP Hornady.
Hit em hard!!

I shoot the 225 bt in a 358 win. xp-100, deadly accurate, but I have experienced some extreme damage on whitetail. I love the bullet and will never use anything else.
