Can anyone tell me a load that is equal to hornady custom 50grn v max's for a 22-250. This seems to be what my gun really likes and I have a whole box of 50grn nosler bullets??

You really shouldn't have much trouble finding a load that's just as good. Just research the powders suitable for 22-250 that produce the velocity you want and you'll probably get a good load with minimal load development.

In a word NO.

No one can tell you a load that equals the performance of a certain factory load in your rifle. One the equals the velocity probably. But only your rifle can tell you what load it wants to shoot and that takes some experimenting. You're even changing bullets and hoping to duplicate it? Good luck. Hope you have more than one box of bullets cuz your gonna need them.

Varget has bee a very good performer for the .22-250; Hornady lists 31.8 to 36.4 Another good one to try is Vhit N-140 for the longer tubes and Vhit N-135 for the shorter ones. All three are a bit of a pain to dump, and you'll need to hand weigh every charge. Good luck!
