This is just my 2 cents, you understand, but, here goes.....I think you'd be disappointed in it, all said & done. The standard in the industry has become the USFA single action. They're using retired Colt gunsmiths to re-create the 1st generation Colt SAA's, & they're doing it with a vengence! The aspect I am most impressed with is the large diameter, straight-taper cone shaped solid mount firing pin. What I'm saying is that you'd GET with the USFA what you'd be EXPECTING with the Colt, for about the same money. Actually, my FFL dealer, who is registered with USFA as a direct dealer, is getting me a USFA SAA, which retails for $1075, at $825. You might check with yours, jd45.
