I have just bought (another) 219 Savage. This is the 4th or 5th I have owned but I never really had to take one apart. The problem is that the front trigger guard screw has loosened up. It appears that the only way to it is to remove the main spring and then drive out the pins and remove the hammer and the barrel latch to get to that screw. Once access is attained a little lock tight and an angled screwdriver and I'm done. Right? Do I need to remove the trigger to do this? Is there anything else that I have overlooked? This is a 219B .22 Hornet with the self cocking and ejection system intact. This looks like a fairly simple thing to do, but I have started other projects that seemed equally as simple that turned into very complex projects. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance. 2520
