I'm thinking of getting one of the PACT scales and dispenser combos from Midway. Does anyone have any experience with it or others like it?

I have the Pact system and it works very well. Make sure you calibrate for each powder you use, keep it clean, and make sure the bench is solid it doesn't like to move while it's working. I haven't used the Lyman or the RCBS system, however, things have changed since I bought the Pact, they maybe better. I like the look and the lay-out of the RCBS. The older Lyman could take around a half an hour to warm up.

I have the Pact system and I am happy with it. I have had it over a year now and no problems. You can but direct from Pact and they pay the freight.

I've been using the Pact system for about 3 years now. I like mine.

Like already mentioned, it does have to be recalibrated each time you change powders (about a 5min process) which is no big deal. Also, like with any electronic scale, you need to keep air currents to a minimum around the unit (no fans or HVAC blowing near it) and pugging the units into a surge strip/power filter instead of just the plain wall sockets tend to make them a little more reliable too.

I've got my new RCBS up and running and what little I've used it, wouldn't take for it. Power up, calibrate (set zero and span) which takes about 30 seconds, key in the weight, fill w/powder, and then start; does not require powder specific calibration. Dispenses powder in a timely manner, keeps a count of discharges and when thru, can open the side and dump excess powder. Will store up to 30 loads in memory, but so simple to key in powder charge, can't see the advantage. Direct plug-in between scale and dispenser and does not seem to be effected by wind (has a cover door that can be when dispensing powder).
