What a disappointment!
« on: July 25, 2005, 08:50:31 AM »
I tried shooting a gun I hadn't shot in over six months. It's a custom target gun for bullseye built by Clark. It was awkward to hold, recoiled more than my usual target 45 and in general seemed old-timey in it's design. I didn't appreciate the oil it left in the web of my hand either.  I really felt that I should sell it because it's not nearly as good as a gun of modern design. The gun in question was a 1911.

I don't care what anyone says, the new designs are better. Period.  Anyone saying otherwise simply hasn't tried a Sig or a Pardini.

I'd never heard of the Pardini but I did a Google search and found that it is a small bore target gun made in Russia and sells for about $1000.  Gun Tests sez to buy it.

I'm referring to the GT45 45ACP gun. They're made in Italy. They have a line of target pistols, including models for international games, action shooting, and air pistol.
