New Feature At Steve's Pages
« on: February 23, 2003, 10:20:03 AM »
Well, have you ever lost your owner's manual to one of your firearms?  Or bought a used firearm with no manual?

I have just finished installing another feature at Steve's Pages.

On-line owner's manuals.  I only have around 120 to 125 of them right now, but the number should be growing.

They are PDF format, so you need Adobe Reader to view them.  And, yes, they are downloadable.

The URL is:

http://stevespages.com/page7b.htm

Oh...if you happen to have an owner's manual I haven't listed...sure would like to borrow it...

Is it my computer?  That seems hard to read against the green background.  Not trying to be critical, I just am having a hard time reading it.  I think it is a great idea!

:D Hello Mr.Ricciardelli, That is quite a good idea for the manuals.I think the problem is the color blue. That color sort of bleeds together when I first see it.I think the background is fine if the blue was changed to say black it would be more acceptable to ones eyes.Just my two cents worth,I am CAL......

Great idea Steve, do you have access to Thompson Contender manuals? I just got a used one with no manual.

Add the Encore manual to that wish list.  I bought a naked frame and it didn't come with any manual.

Okay, so you have managed to find all the missing Illustrated Parts Breakdowns at http://stevespages.com/page7a.htm and Owner's Manuals for all your firearms at http://stevespages.com/page7b.htm

Now you are on a hunt for your missing IPBs and Manuals for your reloading equipment!

Well, it is available at http://stevespages.com/page7a.htm

So far I have equipment manufactured by CH, Corbin, Dillon, Forster, Frankford Arsenal, Lee, Lyman, MEC and RCBS.

More is on the way...

My God, man, when do you find time to do all this?!!

Oh, yeah, my wish list includes a manual for the H&R 999 Sportsman.

Thanks for all your work and a great set of pages.

Where do I find time?

When there is 64" of snow and the temps are way below zero, I have nothing but time.

As for the H&R 999 manual...good luck.  I have seen one since 1985.

There is a site on the web that claims they have copies for $4 a shot...

OK Steve, ya got me!  Any hints as to which one?  The site that claims manuals for $4.00?  I'll spring for that if they actually got one.

You must have two dozen sites on your site alone.  I'm afraid I'm not good at internet serches.

Well, it's been some time since I have added a new section to my website...

BUT...

I am now in the process of adding United States Army Field and Technical Manuals.

There isn't much there right now, but it is growing.

So, if you are interested, go to http://stevespages.com/page7c.htm and take a look.

Again, it is taking time, since they have to be converted and posted.  But I'm sure that eventually there will be something there that interests you.

I do it because reloading, shooting, firearms and computers used to be both my profession and my hobby.

Now they are only my hobby.

And since Montana has been in "winter" since September, and will probably remain there until May, what else have I got to do?

Gee, now I get to answer two with one shot!

Questor:
Evidently you have never seen Montana women!

Graybeard:
In addition to making you look like a nice guy, I can also walk on water, change water into wine, and a host of other small achievements.

Not only that, but if I weren't here, who would oyu and your "moderators" send all those threatening letters advising me to "be nice" or else?

Dang Steve I knew you were good but not THAT good.  :-D  And an over grown cowboy too. Ya still haven't ponied up a photo of you in cowboy garb.

Weren't me wuz it? Don't recall that. At least not in a long time. Maybe a Moderator. They operate on their own really they do. I did toy with the idea of posting that I thought you'd gone off your meds on that last one but decided not to. Ya came back and done real good later I noticed after ya got back on them meds.  :-D  Yup I have my bad days too.

You've never gotten one of my "nasty" letters. Matter of fact I doubt anyone still here has.
