REDFIELD 721 Scope Mount
« on: August 06, 2005, 05:00:24 AM »
Does anyone know what this mount is supposed to go on?  Someone grafted this mount onto my M1917 Enfield.  It works OK, but it is painfully obvious that the mount was not originally designed for the big Enfield action.  Looks kinda like a graduate of the "Primitive Pete School of Gunsmithing" fitted the mount.

The Redfield 721 mount is a one piece mount that looks like it belongs on a short action.  It uses the Burris/Leupold mounting system.  My other three scoped guns use Weaver mounts.  I will convert the Enfield to Weaver mounts even if I have to have a 'smith makes custom bases for it.

Thanks
