If digger does not answer you here you may want to ask at the Excaliber forum at that web site.
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

Kates,

Go to the Excalibur website and choose Specs under the Products pull down.  They have the overall length and weight on all their X-bows

I just looked it up, and according to their site:

Vixen = 150 lb pull, 285 fps, 6.0 lbs, and 37" overall length.

Phoenix = 175 lb pull, 305 fps, 6.3 lbs, and 37" overall length.

Exocet = 200 lb pull, 330 fps, 6.4 lbs, and 38.5" overall length.

If is was me, I would rather have the extra 20 fps even if at the cost of 0.3 lbs or 136 grams.  Overall length is the same for the two you are considering.

Personally I am leaning towards the Exocet 200, but most of my hunting will be done in stands or shooting houses.

Thanks,

The only difference between the Vixen and the Pheonix is the draw weight, 150 lbs for the Vixen and 175 for the Pheonix. This is done by having the new slightly forward facing riser. this riser was used to make the Exocet 175 a 200 lb draw and the Exomag 200 a 225 lb Exomax.
The Pheonix asd Vixen weigh almost the same --add a pound for the scope and sling.
The Exocet 175 lb & the Exomag 200 lb xbows have been discontinued.
