Value of Eddystone 1917 Enfield 30/06&Winchester 1897 12
« on: August 09, 2005, 09:48:11 AM »
Any estimates on current value of gd/verygd condition Eddystone 1917 Enfield 30/06 and Winchester 1897 12ga? The Enfield is un-modified,the Winchester's barrel is 30".
A friend has both, and is wondering about their current value.
Thanks.

i assume from the barrel length of the 1897 it's a sporting version, not the trench gun? i can't relly make a guess at value since with certaain guns it's a very wide difference between the US & Canada.

Condition and location being everything, around here, $400 +/-$100 for either is what I see.

Lately all the mausers I see are around $300 now.  The last P17 i seen was around $350 but they have been seen a lot higher.  The win '97 12ga you will have to check the net for current prices just do a search for it.
