I'm in the process of picking up a BSA Martini Cadet chambered to 25-20 and the fact that it's a single shot means I can load it with spitzers and HPs rather than the factory flat point.
At present I have some 75gn Sierra HPs but I'd like to play with some frangible type bullets and the Nosler 87gn is a bit too heavy for my liking.
Has anyone used the Hornady 75gn V-Max for 25-20 and what was their experience?
Has anyone used this bullet at all?
I estimate by load limits that I'll be able to push it at just under 1900fps.
