Pan, I use 8 grs. of Titegroup with 200 gr. SWC,, but "not" for hunting. Here in Kansas it states that the bullet must be a Expanding Bullet. Hope this helps, I just got a .41 Hunter model, and love it.

My 6 1/2" Black Hawk likes IMR 4227. I use 18.5 - 20 grains behind a Hornady #16000 210 grn JHP.

I don't know what you are hunting, but if penetration is what you are after the 250 gr. WLNGC from Cast Performance and 20gr of H-110 will do the job.
My 6 1/2" Blackhawk shoots most everything I have tried in it quite well. The only bullet I have had trouble with is the 230gr Keith from Leadhead. It shot well enough but I had to crimp the case mouth over the front driving band to keep it from hitting the cylinder throat and not letting the cartridge all the way into the chamber.
If I were going to use a SWC for hunting I think it would be the 230gr Keith and 20-22gr of H-110. I would either trim cases so I could crimp in the crimping groove, or just live with a little deeper seat and crimp over the front driving band. Six or a half dozen either way.

Good luck,

I use the Speer 200gr 3/4 jacket SWC HP over 18gr of 2400 in my .41. The load works great for me.
