Nosler 2nds for working up loads for less!

I have been using this place for some time now.  The Nosler 2nds are just as good as their 1st run products, might have some finger prints on them.  You can use them tom work up hunting loads and then use 1st. run slugs for real.  I have taken 2 Caribou, 1 Mule Deer, 2 Pronghorn, and 2 russian Boar, one over 400lb.  All 2nds all one shot kills from 75 yds. to 325 yds..  Cant ask for more.

Well Bigboar, I have to agree with you, EXCEPT for spending too much for the "real shooting".

I have been shooting the seconds in Handgun Silhouette competition and for hunting for almost 10 years now. I have shot some of the highest scores in the world and have never had an animal complain about not using firsts. They perform exactly the same and using firsts for hunting is a waste of money.

The only time I buy firsts is when I can't get seconds and I can't wait. I probably shoot between 5 and 10 thousand seconds a year.

Save yourself some money and shoot seconds all the time.
Good hunting and good luck.
Joe

Last year I picked up some Nosler Combined Technology bullets that were only 2nds because they hadn't been sent in to be coated.  I've found the Nosler store a good place to do business both in person and on line.  The only time I've gotten a better deal on Nosler bullets was the time when the local Walmart let me have all the 100 grain 6.5 Ballistic Tip bullets they had on hand for $2.50 a box.  Now that was really sweet
For my purpose using off the shelf hunting rifles and not expecting bench rest results, I've not found a bit of difference in the way the 2nds perform.
If I can make it go bang it can't be that hard to do.

I call the Nosler Pro Shop. I can't find the phone # right now... Getting old is just awful! :(

You should be able to get it from the Nosler website.
