Any one ever tired to build one for a handy? My dad has an old Remington 5mm (rim fire) ammo is very costly but, there is kits to make it a center fire 5mm Craig. I thought this would be cool to build one. what do you guys think?

Sounds like an expensive proposition considering the 17hmr Sportster and 204 Ruger Handi are already available.

Ummmm...are you wanting to shoot this in a Handi?...if not...you might ask on the Remington forum...or Bolt action forum...

Yes in a Handy. I just found out about it cause of the Rem. I already have the 204 and a 22 Hornet for the small bore no need for the 17 HMR just thought it would be something different.
